You don't know what you're gonna breathe in sometimes

Finally watched the film. Have been waiting for ages. It's a very Felicity 瓊斯 film, as well as a very Doremus one. Feel like I'm part of it ... again. It's just like you've got different stages of life, and now here are different films to present them. Like Crazy, Breathe In, .... what next then?

Always that touching script. Always that common stories. Always those struggles behind the peacefulness. It even feels like that Drake and Felie have been trying to hold back those emotions, those pulses, those feelings. You can't.

According to the film critic Robbie Collin, 'The main problem with Breathe In is that the film forgets to ever breathe out.' Love that line.

It seems like Drake Doremus always forgets to breathe out. Neither in this one, nor in Like Crazy. And you can't. We can't, again.

You can't love that Dustin O'Halloran music any more, just like you can't love Drake's romantic film series or Felie's acting any more. All that innocent sense alone could bring you back to your very naive years. Like someone said in that film, 'it'd be nice to be young again.'

BTW I guess it's also quite rare in the western films that people haven't even seemed to have sex but got caught in some ambiguous relationship, not to mention the so-called 'affair'. Actually I even sort of take pity on Keith and Sophie.

There are contrasts everywhere in this film, which is really interesting if only the audience would like to observe. Sophie vs Megan, Sophie vs Lauren, Keith vs Aaron.

I'm absolutely a big fan for Felicity 瓊斯. I love almost every single change on her face. And I adore the way Drake deals with details. He might not be the big-film type, but he is absolutely a romantic and considerate man.
