For Love of the Game

There is a reason why I just love baseball movies and baseball in general, because it is never just about the game, there is always dedication and respect involved when a professional does the same thing for thousands of times throughout their life. For Love of the Game is not a perfect movie, in fact it's not even close. The movie is sappy and corny and cheesy, but at the same time it is beautiful and truly a movie for people who simply love the game of baseball. Life, like baseball, requires dedication and commitment, through the perfect game in the old Yankee Stadium, 比利 realized where his heart is really at. Worth mentioning is the marvellous job by Sam Raimi, who really turned a average script into something so memorable.   舉報
