As we are still in the sadness of the past of Elizabeth 泰勒, we lost Sidney Lumet today. Therefore, it is time to have a review of his most impressive movie.

A life was on the hand of jury, which was made up of 12 men. At first, every evidence pointed out the guilty of the boy. Only one man was not sure. He then successfully traced insignificant details to prove that the boy is not. The jury at last all agreed to not guilty.

Reasonable doubt is the fundamental of the western legal system. The movie provided me a clear picture about how the jury works, enriching my understanding of American democracy.

The movie was also prefect in characterize every man. Within one and a half hour, everybody’s life is exposed to the public. #8 jury was really something, convincing everybody by obvious reasons.

Black and white does not affect its quality. It is legendary.
