Ankle depp,he walked though the bluebells

他穿過越踝的風信子

his spirit rose and exulted

他的靈魂被昇華鼓舞

as he breathed in the sun-drenched air

他呼吸著浸染了陽光的空氣

the glorious day was in its last decline

榮耀的日子正在衰落

long shadows lay on the sward,

長長地影子覆蓋在草地上

and from above the leaves dripped their shimmering drops of gold-green light

從頭頂的葉子墜下金綠色的露珠

moths and butterflies swarwed in merry hosts

蛾子和蝴蝶歡樂地聚在一起

flittering here glimmering there

飛來飛去閃閃發光

but hush，could that be a deer？
