80年代的經典，表面上看是一個老套的廉價童話故事，不過其kitch和cheesy的風格恰恰是成為經典的原因。鋒利的劇本充滿了幽默的對話，而個性演員賣力的表現也是很具喜感。片中Andre the Giant出言的巨人後來成為著名塗鴉藝術家手下的題材，無疑對後來的流行文化有著影響。
