關於the golden door名字的由來

源自美國紐約自由女神像基石上銘刻的猶太女詩人愛瑪·拉扎露絲的十四行詩《新巨人》中的最後一句:
The New Colossus Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land；
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
