Very disturbing but perceptive story in the depth of the south. A small town doctor who has a weakness for women. A teenager girl who loves her father so deeply that it hurts to be rejected. A wife who turns her frustration into greater passion for chilren. A 10-year-old girl whose love-hate relationship with the family turns things around in surprising ways, even for herself.

A story about people growing weary, growing up or growing old.
