What is the value of Mr. Bean?

I know Mr. Bean from his films and short video series. As he is considered the idol of comedy by people, I also saw him as funny and witty at first. He has provide us stupid movement, murmuring sound and damaging consequences of his stupid actions, which otherwise could be seem as funny.
However, after seeing several of his movies, I feel boring and think of his appearance and behaviors as awful. He is actually an ugly guy and his behavior makes no sense, his grimace just makes me sick. Recently when I saw the movie」 The.Ultimate.Disaster」, I just could not stop thinking of punching him. He is so disgusting and nonsensical, never thinking about protecting the feels of others. (You know, I am not targeting to Rowan Atkinson, maybe he is a nice man in life, I just do not like his movies.) I kept on thinking about the values of Mr. Bean serials, and by now I cannot find any good answers. I guess that maybe people nowadays are tired of man made beauties and would like to try some opposite favor.

I think that there must be some values of Mr. Bean because he has entertained so many people. But I don』t think that such entertainment is as valuable as some classic comedies such as the works of Chaplin. It is not art, and it destined to be ephemeral. I have heard that 「Mr Bean’s holiday」is his last film. In his last film, he has deducted his stupid entertaining approaches and introduced in a beautiful French woman and a lovely boy to make the movie more appealing.

There are only entertainments in Beans, no other things. Even the entertainments are sometimes disgusting. I do not like bean, its existence illustrate that our aesthetic sense is in recession. I would rather die than appreciating such superficial fun because it decrease my ability to conceive and stunt our willingness to find something beautiful and valuable.

I cannot think about it thoroughly and express myself clear because I have to go to class now.

I like fun, but I would like fun derived from wisdom rather than silliness.
