Vow is simple. I got the words in Desperate House Wives and came up to them while enjoying You Are My Sunshine. Vow is simple, really.

To have and to hold from this day forward; for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law.

In the presence of God, or families and friends, or just each other, lovers make this vow, this simple vow. And they become couples. Then, no matter how humble they are, no matter what they have to get through, how they earn their living, nor their social or economic status, only if they could remember the vow they』ve made and follow it, the love between them is noble and saint.
